No matter how difficult the dog, Cat has always found a way to make sure both the new family and the dog have found a way to work together. If not for the dedication and skill of Cat, a number of dogs that have come in to our rescue would have been very difficult to adopt. We are very fortunate that we have Cat's experience and ability to help our dogs live the happiest lives possible. She is a pleasure to work with and we are lucky to know her. "   Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario After Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast,Cat joined along with the numerous volunteers in a massive pet rescue mission. They encountered many unsafe situations and endured some harsh living conditions but the job got done. Since the initial storm Cat has returned to the Gulf Coast helping to build shelters ,evaluate and eventually arrange for the transport of many homeless dogs back to Canada and their new homes. To date " Katrina Dogs " are still coming to Canada.  Cat wishes to acknowledge all the hard work put in by all the great volunteers at the Lincoln County Humane Society. Rescues
